ABOUT THE SEWING CLUB

The Sewing Club has been the creative hotspot of Caroline van Ginkel since March 2021. After more than 15 years of experience in fashion, of which 7 years in education, she found that it was time to create a place where people can learn the art of sewing in a casual way while enjoying a glass of wine. It is a club where you can go every week, but you can also occasionally walk in. Meet creative people and inspire each other!

In April 2023 we opened our interactive studio/shop Slow in Utrecht. Here you will learn what an alternative to 'fast fashion' is and we will show that making your own clothes is not old-fashioned, but trendy and sustainable! You can come here for a self-developed collection of sewing patterns, a beautiful selection of deadstock fabrics, various haberdashery and the most fun sewing lessons in town.
