Definitions:
Where these terms refer to a “session”, this means: a Sew Space session, course, workshop, or event, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
“Customer” refers to any natural or legal person who makes a purchase or registers via our website, or otherwise enters into an agreement with The Sewing Club.

Article 1 – Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to all offers, agreements, and deliveries by The Sewing Club, unless agreed otherwise in writing. By making a purchase on our website or participating in a session, the customer agrees to these terms.

Article 2 – Registration

2.1. A registration is strictly personal and non-transferable.

2.2. By registering for a session, you commit to paying the associated fee.

2.3. Your registration is confirmed once you have received a confirmation email from us and the amount due has been paid, either immediately upon registration or no later than 14 days before the start of the session.

2.4. If payment is not received on time, we reserve the right to cancel your registration and make the spot available to others. You will always be informed of this by email.

2.5. Each session has a maximum number of participants. Spots are allocated in order of registration. Once a session is full, you may request to be placed on the waiting list.

Article 3 – Cancellation by the Customer

3.1. Sew Space sessions: You may cancel a reserved Sew Space session free of charge up to 24 hours before the start via the booking system. If cancelled on time, the credit will be returned to your account. Late cancellations will be charged. Cancellations due to illness are not an exception.

3.2. Workshops, courses and events: After registration, you have a statutory withdrawal period of 14 days, unless the workshop, course, or event starts within that period. You may cancel free of charge up to 14 days before the start date. The paid amount will be refunded within 5 working days. Cancellations after this period are non-refundable.

3.3. Cancellations must be submitted by email and are only valid after written confirmation by The Sewing Club.

3.4. Making up missed lessons (courses):
If a participant is unable to attend a lesson due to circumstances (such as illness), this must be reported by email at least 24 hours prior to the lesson.
Per course, a maximum of one (1) missed lesson can be made up during a Sew Space session, subject to availability. This make-up session must take place within one month after the missed lesson.
If the cancellation is not made on time or if no availability is found, the right to a make-up session will expire.

3.5. Online products and subscriptions: Digital products (including Sewflix subscriptions, memberships, and PDF patterns) cannot be cancelled or refunded after purchase, as you receive immediate access to the content.

Article 4 – Cancellation by The Sewing Club

4.1. In case of insufficient participants, we reserve the right to cancel a session. The paid amount will be refunded within 5 working days.

4.2. In case of teacher absence, we will try to arrange a replacement. If this is not possible, the session will be cancelled. For Sew Space sessions, credits will be returned to your account. For workshops, courses, and events, an alternative date will be arranged.

Article 5 – Refunds

5.1. Refunds are only granted for timely cancellations in accordance with Article 3.

5.2. For Sew Space sessions, credits will be returned to your account if you cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Unused Sew Space sessions cannot be carried over to the next month.

6.2. Sewflix and Sew Space subscriptions may be paid monthly or quarterly via automatic debit. In case of a failed payment, your account may be suspended and you will not be able to book sessions until the outstanding amount has been paid.

6.3. Cancellation of a membership requires a notice period of one (1) month and must be submitted via your account or by email. Already paid periods are non-refundable.

Article 7 – Prices and Price Changes

7.1. All prices listed on the website are in euros and include VAT, unless stated otherwise.

7.4. In the event of a price increase for an ongoing subscription, membership, course, or other recurring product, the customer has the right to terminate the agreement before the new price takes effect, without additional costs. If the customer does not cancel before the effective date, the new price is deemed accepted.

7.5. Price changes do not affect one-time purchases that have already been fully paid (e.g. individual workshops, products, etc.).

7.6. Obvious errors in pricing (e.g. typographical errors) are not binding for The Sewing Club.

Article 8 – Shipping and Returns

8.1. Shipping costs are borne by the buyer and are calculated at checkout.

13.2. If the force majeure situation lasts longer than 60 days, the customer has the right to terminate the agreement in writing, with a refund of amounts already paid for services or products not delivered.
